All the activities are centered around the Turnberry Adventures Hub, just a short walk from the main hotel, and have dedicated areas within close proximity of each other. The activities are available for all hotel guests and non-residents and are perfect for those seeking a leisurely thrill. We also offer multi-activity packages for groups be they corporate team-building away-days, stag and hen activity days or family celebrations.

CLAY SHOOTING
Our recently redeveloped shooting school has been purpose-built to suit groups, individuals, and families. Ideal for anyone wishing to learn the arts and techniques of clay pigeon shooting or for experienced shots wishing to practice. You will be presented with a variety of targets including springing teal, crossing pigeon and the rabbit run to name but a few. Our A.P.S.I. qualified shooting instructors will tailor your session to suit individual levels of ability. We have a family-friendly atmosphere and encourage everyone to participate especially novices, ladies and children. Various packages are also available for groups combining educational shooting experiences with a fun, competitive element. Our all-weather shooting shelter allows participation whatever the weather.
PADDLEBOARDING
Hire a paddleboard for a day and enjoy the adventure of travelling across the water on your board by standing, kneeling or sitting. Suitable for all levels of fitness, you can choose to challenge yourself or paddle gently while taking in the beauty of the coastline. Venture out to the Turnberry lighthouse, spot the seals in Turnberry bay or take a leisurely cruise to Maidens. Please note this is an unsupervised activity.
KAYAKING
Become one with nature as you crusade through Turnberry Loch in our Kayaks. Take in the magnificent surrounding of Turnberry as you create lasting memories with friends and family.
ELECTRIC BIKE HIRE
Two wheels are an excellent way to get a true sense of Turnberry and to explore the local terrain. Take advantage of our brand-new electric bikes and see all that Ayrshire has to offer. VIEW CYCLING ROUTES
4X4 OFF-ROAD Driving
Test your skills on a Land Rover Defender across the specially designed 4x4 track. At the end of this insightful and exhilarating experience, you will have mastered the fundamentals of off-roading including ascents, descents, side slopes and water splashes.
Archery
Master the highly enjoyable skills of the longbow at this five lane facility. This “all weather” activity with the firing line housed within an open faced cabin, perfect for all to take up this challenge.
Rifle Target Shooting
Our excellent six-lane 35m facility is retrofitted into a former RAF small arms range. Shooting state of the art air rifles at various distances from within the lodge building, this is a safe “all-weather” activity for all to enjoy.
