100 Plus Years of Turnberry
Turnberry, in its incarnation as golf resort, has already seen its first hundred years come and go. In 2006, Turnberry celebrated that milestone with spectacular concerts, exhibitions of memorabilia, visiting luminaries, golf tournaments and centenary packages that evoked every aspect of the unique Turnberry experience.
A place so timeless, and with partners so committed, expects to see several hundred more years. During that time, some things would be expected to change, but many more would be expected to remain. One hundred years from now, the roofs are still expected to be red, the links will most certainly still be green, and Turnberry will undoubtedly still offer the most luxurious accommodations and challenging golf play anywhere. Those essentials are part of the magic of Turnberry-and are the reasons the resort has thrived over the last hundred years.
